Your first week in Tiny Harvest Town
Tiny Harvest Town is forgiving, but a little early planning saves a lot of tearing things down later. My first town was a mess of crops planted wherever, and I regretted it once the crafting buildings arrived.
Leave space near your farmhouse for workshops. You'll want processing buildings close to your fields so you're not walking crops halfway across town. It's a small thing that adds up over dozens of sessions.
Focus on one or two crops at first instead of dabbling in everything. Steady income from a reliable staple beats a chaotic garden you can't keep watered. I built my whole early economy around tomatoes and never looked back.
Most of all, take your time. There's no timer breathing down your neck, so let the town grow at its own pace. That relaxed rhythm is the entire appeal, and rushing it just makes it feel like work.
