Why supply lines win games in Iron Tide Command
Everyone new to Iron Tide Command wants to build the biggest fleet and smash the enemy head-on. It almost never works. The games I won came down to supply, not firepower.
Cutting an opponent's shipping route quietly starves their reinforcements. I started treating the map like a chessboard, targeting choke points instead of chasing individual ships around the ocean.
Defense of your own lines matters just as much. Leave a couple of light escorts patrolling your routes, even when it feels like a waste. That insurance saved me from a comeback loss more than once.
Once logistics click, the whole game changes character. Battles become the consequence of good planning rather than the point of it, and that shift is where Iron Tide gets genuinely rewarding.
