Lanterns of the Hollow

Lanterns of the Hollow is easily the most atmospheric game in this batch. You wander a fog-choked village, light lanterns, and slowly piece together what happened to the people who lived there.

The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, which I loved. Nothing here relies on pixel-hunting or moon-logic combinations. Most of the time the answer is out there if you pay attention to the environment.

The hand-drawn art and quiet soundtrack pulled me in completely. I finished it in two sittings and immediately wanted more. If you like slow, thoughtful adventures, don't miss this one.
